BECOME A STAR AT THE GWINNETT COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
Exciting news for those interested in a fulfilling law enforcement career at the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office! We've significantly enhanced our recruitment and training initiatives, all while recognizing the unique roles within our team. We've lowered the mandatory age requirement to 18 for deputy jailers and introduced an impressive sign-on bonus that reflects this commitment. The sign-on bonus for Sworn Personnel has increased to $4,700, acknowledging their crucial contributions. But that's not all; for Non-Sworn Personnel, it has risen to $4,300, demonstrating our appreciation for their integral support.

Additionally, Deputy Jailers joining our ranks will enjoy tuition reimbursement, advanced training, and valuable mentorship opportunities. Our comprehensive approach to training includes a 4-week orientation in jail operations, followed by seven weeks of field training under the guidance of a seasoned training officer. As part of the GCSO Mentorship Program, newly hired deputy jailers will be paired with mentors who support their professional growth within law enforcement. Join us in embarking on an extraordinary journey as part of a dedicated team committed to upholding justice and safeguarding the community.
