Deputy Rodriguez is currently assigned to the Jail Operations Division. On March 17th, at approximately 2100 hours, Deputy Rodriguez conducted a thorough inspection in Unit N. During the unit search, she located a covered sheet tied around the window and discovered freshly cut wounds on the wrists of an individual housed in the jail. Utilizing her knowledge, and training in identifying suicidal cues, she contacted the mental health counselor who provided professional aid to the individual.
Deputy Rodriguez, thank you for valuing the safety and protection of individuals housed at the jail. In preparation for this summer's Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) Academy, we wish you all the best.
